JLGB activities are all about learning something new. Before you come to camp you'll get to choose your specialism to discover for one session each day, and you'll deep-dive throughout the week and leave camp as an expert! Options this year could be digital skills, theatrical drama, martial arts or nutrition!

Going away for the week is the best time to take part in brand new experiences. On JLGB Summer Camp there's so many opportunities to learn something new with world renowned speakers, professionally delivered training and personal development sessions.

Whether you're sports mad, or just have a competitive edge, our mix of friendly social kickabouts and grand tournaments mean everyone can get involved.  Every day you'll be able to work with your team in a new sport, and during the breaks you're always welcome to head to the football pitch, basketball court or volleyball arena!

Reach for the stars and then jump back to Earth! On our state-of-the-art campsite there's so many activities to challenge you - High ropes, climbing wall, zip wire, mega-swing, kit-carts, are just some of the fun. Not forgetting the on-site lake where you can take part in a range of water sports (if we don't head into the sea first!)

JLGB camps are renowned for their stunning evening extravaganzas, and are your chance to get involved on stage. Nights are packed with shows, immersive experiences and so many surprises! We promise lots of music and laughing - the fun never stops! With state-of-the art equipment, you'll feel like you're in a live West End audience.

Friends for life. That's what you'll be making on camp. You'll have so many opportunity to meet new people your age (and more) - from all over the UK, Israel and beyond! If it's your first time we'll help you settle in and introduce you to your peers and future mates.

It's so important to remember the importance of giving back to others around us, and on camp you'll have the chance to complete Acts of Kindness as well as learn how to carry on making a difference when you get home. Camp is it's own special community, which you'll be a part of!

Your leadership journey starts right here. JLGB is creating the leaders of tomorrow and you can be one of them. With many chances to guide a team, you'll learn new skills and confidence to take home with you. We'll teach you the most advanced techniques and provide you with coaching to become the best you can be.

You'll be up early to make the most of each day and have your own timetable which will include activities with your team and other age groups. There'll also be the chance to choose - jump in the pool or catch up with friends! The day will go by so fast, and before you know it you'll have your hot choc in hand, ready for another day.

Our team structure will mean you'll meet so many people whilst developing close bonds. Your team-mates will be the same age as you, with a mix of familiar and new faces. At times, you'll join a wider group of different ages, there are lots of competitions to bring you closer with your new camp family!

As well as working with your team, some sessions take place with everyone in your particular age group, so you can meet people of a similar age. This is a great chance to mix with some different people who aren't in your team, as well as take part in activity especially for you.

The "Freshers' Club" is open for all participants in year 6, 7 and 8 where our dedicated team of leaders will guide and put on activities especially for you. A great way for people who are new to camp to meet people their own age and make friends as they find their feet. When you arrive, look out for the Freshers' team!

Breakfast, lunch and dinner times are when some camp memories will be made. We give you plenty of time to enjoy our delicious food,  as well as to play some games or take a well earned shower break! This is your time to shape your camp experience before the next session begins - how will you choose to spend it?

Whilst applying for camp, you will be able to sign up for our easy payment plan, just select to pay by Debit Card, and you can set up automatic monthly payments.

Our menu has a mix of home classics and camp favourites. Each morning there's a hot breakfast and you can help yourself to cereal. Lunch can include baked potatoes and pastas. Dinner is three courses from schnitzels, to colourful stir fry's. Our Salad+ bar will fill you up, plus you'll get an afternoon treat and a hot choc before bed.

Given advance notice, we are happy to cater for those who have special dietary needs - just mention it on your Application Form. Drinks are available, so bring your own water bottle and just help yourself! If you don't fancy what is available for a meal, do let the leaders know and they'll do their best to find an alternative for you.

The cost of Camp includes transport from central pick-up points. All participants are expected to travel on the transport provided and should be in contact directly with JLGB otherwise. Expected pick up points are: Borhemawood, Edgware, Gants Hill, South London, Whitefield, Leeds, Nottingham, Birmingham, Glasgow and Cardiff.

Located right on a beautiful beach coastline, with 62 acres of grass fields our campsite will become your beautiful home-from-home. You'll be sleeping under the stars in large, well-maintained tents, and all you'll need is your sleeping bag and pillow, and we'll provide a comfortable mattress. It will be an experience to remember!

Although you'll be under canvas, our campsite has all the creature comforts you may need to feel at home. With a large amount of spotless shower facilities that are cleaned daily, a large dining hall with professional kitchen and a number of indoor and outdoor activity spaces.

We have a high ratio of leaders, plus leaders specifically designated for welfare and medical care - so there's always someone for you to go to. All our adult leaders are DBS checked and First Aid trained plus have a wealth of leadership experience. They will look after you throughout the week, so you can ask them for any help you may need.

The Medical Team will collect your medication on arrival and make sure you get it at the right times! If you do feel unwell, there is a fully-equipped first aid room manned throughout the day. In the event of an emergency we have 24 hour care and we are registered with all local hospitals.

JLGB has many years of experience in dealing with sensitive issues and any welfare concerns will be addressed with care and confidentiality by our Welfare Team. 

The information provided as part of our online application process is confidential - please don't be embarrassed or worried to discuss any problems. We can deal with almost anything as long as we are forewarned! Please inform us of any changes you feel may affect your child's wellbeing that occur after you've applied.

We understand that going away from home can be nerve wracking, and we will do our best to accommodate you with a friend you know already Please clearly indicate any requests on your application form in the 'additional comments' the full name and JLGB Local Group of those you wish to share with.

Summer Camp is a fully Kosher site and the programme is Shomrei Shabbat with an inspirational Shabbat experience as part of the programme. There are also facilities available for daily prayer services and those who wish to take part should let the camp team know beforehand via their application form.

We have dedicated security working closely with the CST, to ensure that you are kept safe whilst at camp. During the night, leaders are never far away, emergency points and leaders' tents are clearly marked. Emergency phone numbers will be issued should parents need to contact their child whilst at camp.
