Financial Assistance for JLGB Programmes

JLGB are committed to financial inclusion to ensure that all young people in the British Jewish community can participate in our programmes. Families unable to meet the costs of our programmes can apply for a longer payment plan and/ or a bursary towards the cost of our programmes.

You will receive a JLGB Financial Assistance application form to be completed and returned. A team member may wish to speak to you about your application. At all times we guarantee confidentiality and anonymity regarding your application for assistance.

Generally, our financial assistance is made available to families who receive means tested benefits including; Child Tax Credit, Working Tax Credit, Universal Credit, Housing Benefit, Free School Meals.

We will also consider applications for those in exceptional circumstances i.e. recent illness affecting income, large debts affecting the family budget, guardians of foster children etc. We would normally only consider exceptional circumstances applications form those with a total household income of less than £80,000 a year.

You will be required to send us evidence of your means-tested benefit or exceptional circumstances upon submitting your application.
