Orientation: Taking place shortly before departure (exact date to follow)
Who’s It For: Year 11s (ages 15–16)

Over three incredible weeks, you’ll travel across Israel with an amazing team of British and Israeli leaders. Together, you’ll explore, volunteer, and experience everything that makes Israel so special — from ancient history to cutting-edge innovation.

More Information About JLGB's Israel Tour

Have the time of your life while floating in the Dead Sea, abseiling down the Ramon Crater and water rafting down the River Jordan. Form a unique family bond with the people around you, ensuring you create incredible friendships.

Get to know your Tour family a few days before, during our ‘tourientation’, this is great for those new to JLGB! We are proud to have a team of experienced and highly trained British and Israeli Tour Leaders who will show you every part of this beautiful and diverse country from unique perspectives.

It is imperative to us that everyone feels safe, welcomed and comfortable on Tour. We care about everyone’s journey on this rite of passage and tailor our three week programme for individual needs.

Financial Assistance

We are committed to financial inclusion so all young people in the British Jewish community can take part. Families unable to meet the cost can apply for means-tested assistance by ticking this on the Initial Application Form. You will then receive a JLGB Financial Assistance form. The UJIA Bursary Fund Committee guarantees confidentiality throughout.

How To Apply

Complete the initial online application and pay a £500 deposit. You’ll then receive an email with further details and a unique link to your full application. Please read all information carefully and submit your completed and signed health and full application forms within 4 weeks. All further communication will be sent to the parent/guardian 1 email address.

Price Includes

Accommodation, return flights to Israel (note all participants must travel both ways on the group flight), activities, leaders, entrance fees, transport in Israel, medical, travel and baggage insurance (please see terms and conditions for cover details and exclusions), all meals, and orientation. Only transport during the programme is included and particularly at the end of tour parents will be expected to collect or arrange travel from a London airport.

Cancellation Policy

If an applicant wishes to cancel their place on JLGB Israel Tour they must contact JLGB in writing.

Security

The safety, security and wellbeing of the participants is, and always has been, our primary concern. JLGB Israel Tour is planned according to the security directives of the relevant security authorities in Israel, who check all the itineraries regularly and advise on changes which need to be made.
