We are Recruiting! Join the JLGB Professional DofE Team and Support Young People Taking on the Ultimate Challenge
As JLGB DofE expands to reach 1,000 participants, JLGB is seeking to employ dedicated individuals to join a dynamic team assisting with the running and delivery of JLGB’s Kosher Duke of Edinburgh’s Award. Help enrich the lives of 1,000 Jewish young people by delivering the world’s leading youth achievement award. Not only will you be running trainings in schools but running expeditions in some of the UK’s most beautiful landscapes, while shaping the future of the next generation of Jewish youth.
JLGB removes barriers to participation and prides itself on providing a kosher and Shabbat-friendly DofE provision, ensuring that all Jewish young people are able to access the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award. Single gender expeditions, as well as adapted groups for young people with physical or learning disabilities are also available so that the entire Jewish community can benefit from all that the DofE has to offer.
To help deliver JLGB’s unique DofE provision to even more participants than ever before, JLGB are recruiting for the following posts:
- London Coordinator
- Session Workers (wanted in Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds and London)
- Administrators
- Interns
- Apprentices
General duties may include:
- School/community centre based theory training sessions
- Running multi day Expeditions
- Equipment care and maintenance
- Assisting participants completing their award
- Liaising with schools and DofE centres

Some roles will include some evenings as well as Sundays during the Expedition season (April –July).
Full training will be given and no DofE experience is necessary, although it is preferable.
Full UK driving license required.
