300% increase in Duke of Edinburgh's Award

2012 has seen a record number of almost 700 Jewish young people start their Duke of Edinburgh's Award (DofE) with JLGB, with a record number completing their awards this year. This has culminated in 10 JLGB DofE participants heading to St James' Palace this autumn to receive their Gold awards from the Duke of Edinburgh himself.

Thanks to support from the Pears Foundation, plans to smash this year's record are well on their way with over 800 new participants expected to enrol for 2013 for their Bronze, Silver and Gold awards.
