NEWS FLASH! JLGB Wins Second Award For Interfaith NCS!

CYPS

JLGB were celebrating last night after winning yet another award for our faith sensitive National Citizen Service provision. JLGB were nominated for their 2012 NCS interfaith pilot project, a flagship government scheme.

Their project saw over 90 young people from seven different belief backgrounds come together for three weeks of social action, residential adventure activities, skills building and interfaith learning, and has already received a prestigious award in the 2013 Charity Awards.

JLGB Chief Executive, Neil Martin, comments: "We are thrilled and honoured that the JLGB has won this award for our interfaith NCS project and we hope this will help to highlight and create greater understanding for the need of targeted services to ensure young people of faith and cultural backgrounds can access everyday activity, that many take for granted."
