Run, Run As Fast As You Can!

JLGB members and staff took part in the Community Fun Run and raised thousands of pounds for JLGB and AJEX – Association of Jewish Ex-Servicemen and Women.  They walked, strolled, jogged and ran as fast as they could to finish the 1km, 5km or 10km events on a day when some personal records were broken, some were even smashed but everyone who took part made their own contribution to this worthy cause. 

Lee Sidney, JLGB leader and runner, said:  “I’ve never taken part in a charity event like that, the atmosphere was brilliant and I felt proud to be raising money for JLGB and AJEX. It was a great day out with the community and fantastic to see so many people raising money for all the charities that do such vital work. I’d love to do it again and next near plan to run the 10km, 5km and the 1km. Thanks to all the sponsors and the organisers”.
