Experience Of A Lifetime With Your Friends

JLGB Adventure Israel Tour 2013 participants had the summer of their lives after an incredible 3 and a half weeks in Israel! The group, led by Emma Barr and Ellis Johnstone, explored the country and engaged in all the adventures Israel had to offer, from jumping through waterfalls, banana boating on the Kinneret, floating in the Dead Sea, sleeping under the stars in the Negev, camel riding with the Bedouins; the list goes on.

Packed with adventure, the group also engaged in meaningful and sometimes eye opening activities, with visits to Yad Vashem, posting notes in the Western Wall and exploring the ancient cities. Volunteering allowed the group to give back to the community of Sderot, by planting a new garden, running activities for young children, and making elderly people smile by befriending them at an old age home. Tour participant, 16-year old Tasmin Khin, describes the experience, saying: "Tour created friendships and memories that'll last a life time."
