Carnival May Be Over, But The Fiesta Kept Going!

A phenomenal 350 participants attended JLGB's National 'Carnival' Summer Camp from the 28th of July till the 4th August. As well as bringing together young people from the length and breadth of the UK, we were joined by our new friends from international communities including Russia and Israel ensuring that it was a carnival with a truly global feel!

The atmosphere was electric! With plenty of sunshine, singing and dancing, JLGB young volunteer leaders led an action-packed programme of carnival-inspired activities and entertainments including our very own Fringe Festival. We were delighted to be joined on Summer Camp by JLGB President Lord Levy, Lord Swaythling and former JLGB member and Amy's father, Mitch Winehouse.
