Learning New Skills With OCN

With the final modules still being assessed, this academic year has already been a huge success with over 115 Open College Network modules completed. The young leaders have earned awards in, Organisational Skills, Peer Youth Leadership, Citizenship & Social Responsibility, Introduction to a Voluntary Youth Organisation, Teamwork Skills and Youth Leadership.

These certificates show that the training provided and subsequent work done by leaders in JLGB and other youth movements is nationally recognised and is another fantastic way of enhancing a CV or UCAS form. With young leaders from Birmingham, Redbridge, Cardiff, Kingston, Manchester, Bushey, Borehamwood and Glasgow all picking up certificates once again proving that the national training system, linked to our state of the art online system, is open to all.
