I started attending JLGB as an 8 year old living in Glasgow. All the way through my childhood, teenage years, university and beyond JLGB gave me a place to have fun, and make friends from across the UK. Moving to Leeds for University, or down to London thereafter, JLGB was a environment which offered familiarity and comfort throughout.
As a volunteer in JLGB for many years, and now working professionally for over 16 years, I see more and more examples of how JLGB supports and develops young people, and have heard young people and old attest to the positive development, fond memories and experiences which they have had with JLGB, and how they attribute so much of their success and confidence to JLGB.
