Schools Youth Programme Coordinator – Generation Resilience
Part-Time (3 Days a Week)
Contract: Permanent, approx. 21 hours per week (flexible on days and hours, ideally Mon–Fri 9:00am–5:30pm with option for early finish)
Location: Hybrid – JLGB Office (E18), home working and schools across London and surrounding areas
Start Date: Immediate start available
About the Role
This role is ideal for someone looking to make a meaningful impact in the British Jewish community on a part-time basis. You’ll join the team supporting our new Generation Resilience programme – helping run lunchtime clubs and workshops in Jewish primary schools across the region.
Alongside school delivery, you’ll support behind-the-scenes work such as planning, communications, and content development. We are happy to work flexibly around your availability and school term-time.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Deliver fun, structured lunchtime clubs and Jewish values-based sessions
- Help build relationships with teachers, parents and school staff
- Support with programme planning, logistics, and administration
- Track attendance and support reporting processes
- Occasionally support evening or Sunday programmes as needed
Who We’re Looking For:
- Someone with a background or interest in youth work or education
- A confident, positive role model with strong communication skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a wider team
- A self-starter who’s comfortable travelling between locations
- Someone with a passion for Jewish life, inclusion and personal development
- Holds a full UK driving licence
- Experience working with children aged 7–11 is ideal
