Why are you excited to work for JLGB?
I’m thrilled to work for JLGB because of the inspiring leadership and amazing team. The CEO’s visionary approach and the dedication of everyone involved create an environment where we all share the same goal: to make a real, positive difference. The work is not only meaningful but also incredibly rewarding, and it’s a privilege to contribute to such a dynamic organisation.
What is your favourite JLGB moment?
One of my standout JLGB moments was during the May Charidy Fundraising Campaign, when we surpassed our £200,000 target and went on to raise an incredible £250,000. It was a powerful reminder of what we can achieve together and the deep support JLGB has from the community.
Tell us about your role within JLGB
As the Director of Fundraising and Financial Efficiency, my role involves driving income generation through a variety of exciting initiatives while ensuring JLGB remains financially efficient. This includes maintaining and negotiating supplier contracts, optimising future purchases, and ensuring that every financial decision supports the sustainability and growth of the organisation. It’s a role that combines creativity and strategy, and I’m proud to play a part in securing JLGB’s future while continuing to deliver impactful programmes for our community.
