To me, JLGB is much more than an organisation—it’s a second home. It’s the place where I discovered confidence, built lifelong friendships, and experienced the joy of being part of something greater than myself. Through volunteering, sharing laughter at camps, and developing my professional skillset, JLGB has shaped my life in countless ways. It’s a family, a community, and a story I’m incredibly proud to be part of.

Working for JLGB is an opportunity to give back to an organisation that has impacted so many lives, including my own. It’s not just a job—it’s a chance to make a real, meaningful difference. I’m excited to contribute to creating unforgettable experiences, fostering personal growth, and strengthening connections within the Jewish community. Being part of JLGB means being part of a mission to empower and inspire, and I’m thrilled to play a role in continuing that legacy.

One of my favourite JLGB memories has always been attending the AJEX Parade every year as a member. Marching alongside others, honoring our shared history, and celebrating those who served filled me with an incredible sense of pride and tradition. It was a deeply inspiring experience that connected me to the community in a profound way. Now, having the opportunity to help run the parade is an amazing full-circle moment. It’s such an honour to ensure others can share in that same pride and sense of meaning that I felt growing up.

In my current role at JLGB, I focus on operations, ensuring the efficiency of processes within the office and supporting the team in delivering impactful programs and events. From streamlining workflows and coordinating logistics to handling day-to-day tasks, I work behind the scenes to keep everything running smoothly. My goal is to create a strong foundation that allows the organisation to focus on what matters most—creating incredible experiences for our members and making a difference in the community. It’s deeply rewarding to know that the work I do plays a key role in helping JLGB continue to thrive and support its members.
