Why are you excited to work for JLGB?
I’m excited to work for JLGB because I have the opportunity to be a part of shaping the future of the organisation. I get to contribute to creating new ideas, improving existing processes, and bringing new initiatives to life. This role gives me a sense of purpose and allows me to stay connected to our stakeholders, ensuring that we meet their needs and continuously strive to enhance their experiences.
What is your favourite JLGB moment?
One of my favourite JLGB moments is witnessing the growth of our Young Leaders during Training Weekend. It’s incredible to see their development as they process new information, understand their responsibilities, and discover the deeper purpose behind their journey with JLGB. Watching them grow and transform is always a highlight and reminds me of the positive impact we have on young people’s lives.
Tell us about your role within JLGB
In my role as Executive Assistant to the Directors at JLGB, I work on a variety of projects that support the organisation’s operations. My responsibilities include finance and auditing, policy development, and supporting the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening candidates, and managing IT system functionality (FUEL). I also assist with promotion phone calls and provide support to our customers on the phone, which I truly enjoy. Each day brings new challenges and opportunities to make a meaningful impact on JLGB’s success and the experiences we create for our members.
