FAQs
Q: Who counts as a friend?
A: The friend must be under 18 and living in the UK; and meet the eligibility requirements for the programme or activity they wish to join. They must not have attended a JLGB local group within the last three years and not attended a JLGB camp within the last three years.
Q: What's in it for me?
A: For every friend that you refer you will be rewarded with a £10 gift voucher of your choice as a thank you, after your friend attends a JLGB local group once or pays to attend one of our camps. If your friend(s) goes on to purchase a JLGB membership pass, you will then be eligible to claim a second £10 gift voucher of your choice.
Q: How do I refer a friend?
A: It is important to give us details about your friend(s) before they attend a local group or sign up for one of our camps. You can register your friend(s) online at www.jlgb.org/bringafriend.
Q: How do I claim my gift voucher?
A: Assuming you have already completed the form at www.jlgb.org/bringafriend, once your friend(s) has attended a JLGB group or paid to attend one of our camps we will send your gift voucher via email or post within one month. If your friend(s) purchases a JLGB membership pass we will send your next gift voucher within one month. If you have any questions or if you have not received your voucher please email bringafriend@jlgb.org
Q: Can I refer more than one friend?
A: Yes, you can refer as many friends as you want. For every friend that you refer you will get a £10 gift voucher, so if you refer 10 friends you will receive £200 in gift vouchers when they purchase a JLGB membership pass!
Q: Can I refer friends to a different group to mine?
A: Yes, you can refer friend(s) to any group in the UK.
Q: What if we bring the same friend?
A: Whoever submits the form first will receive the voucher.
