What does JLGB mean to you?
JLGB means family and friends to me; it's a place where I share quality time with my siblings and have built some of the most meaningful friendships in my life. It’s more than just an organisation—it’s a supportive community that feels like a second family, offering a sense of belonging and lifelong connections.
Why are you excited to work for JLGB?
I’m excited to give back to JLGB because it has given me so much over the years. It has shaped who I am and provided me with lifelong friendships and amazing opportunities. I want to ensure that other young people can have the same incredible experiences.
What is your favourite JLGB moment?
My favourite JLGB moments are always leading training sessions for the older years during our leadership weekends. It’s incredibly rewarding to help prepare the next generation of staff by equipping them with the skills they need to succeed. Seeing them put what they’ve learned into practice in real-life situations is both exciting and fulfilling, knowing I’ve played an important part in their development.
Tell us about your role within JLGB
As the Communications and Marketing Manager at JLGB, I oversee strategies that span all our programmes, creating materials for both print and digital media. One of my favorite tasks is producing the monthly Volunteer Newsletter. It’s a great way to keep our volunteers informed, celebrate their achievements, and share simchas in our announcements section—bringing our community even closer together!
