What does JLGB mean to you?
JLGB has been more than just an organisation in my life — it’s been a second home, a community, and the foundation of who I’ve become. It’s where I found my confidence, my identity, and most importantly, my passion for Judaism. Growing up through JLGB gave me the tools to lead, the platform to grow, and the inspiration to give back. It's not just about the activities or the badges — it's about the lifelong values, friendships, and purpose it instills.
Why are you excited to work for JLGB?
Coming full circle from participant to professional feels incredibly meaningful. I’m excited to use my background in marketing and communications to shine a spotlight on all the life-changing work JLGB does — work that I know firsthand changes lives. To now be in a position where I can help amplify that impact, inspire the next generation, and give back to the organisation that gave me so much is truly a privilege.
What is your favourite JLGB moment?
My favourite JLGB moment has to be from my very first summer camp in 2015. On my first ever evening programme as a camper, I somehow managed to win a year’s worth of sweets — and I don’t think I’ve stopped talking about it since! It was such a surreal, hilarious moment that not only made me feel instantly part of the JLGB family but also left a lasting impression on everyone there. To this day, people who were working for JLGB at the time still remember it. It’s a story that always reminds me of the joy, energy, and magic of camp — and why JLGB means so much to me.
