The JLGB offers young Jewish people from all over the UK a positive, balanced programme of activities to engage them not only in the things they like to do every week, but with important issues that will stand them in good stead forever, such as healthy living, citizenship, leadership development and Jewish identity.
We have a thriving national network that offers a lifeline to young Jewish people in the smaller regional communities like Newcastle, Liverpool, Cardiff and Glasgow and it gives them the opportunity to make friends with hundreds of like-minded Jewish teenagers from all over the UK.
We have created a series of online programmes and training resources that allows the JLGB to interact with the smaller communities in ways we've not been able to before. 'Virtual' communities allow us to reach out, connect and engage with 'hard to reach' young Jewish people and it has proven to be a resounding success.
All our national award schemes are accessible online through secure and user-friendly computer systems and everyone taking part can track their progress and achievements.
We are proud to deliver these services to regional and rural Jewish communities. They have the power to instantly and directly connect isolated young people with all the JLGB family has to offer.
