Due to the COVID-19 restrictions we are not running any face-to-face youth provision at this time. However, the good news is that JLGB Virtual is continuing every Monday - Thursday until the end of August. Watch now at www.jlgb.org/virtual

Volunteering Awards

Central to the ethos of the JLGB is active citizenship and giving back to society.

One of the ways in which we positively contribute is through our involvement with a number of nationally-recognised, age-progressive volunteering achievement awards, which all our members can sign up to and participate in, including –

The Yoni Jesner Award
The Junior Citizenship Award
The Duke of Edinburgh's Award
vInspired Award

We passionately believe that in addition to a solid school education, our Jewish young people can make a valued and lasting contribution to society through volunteering.

They will develop their own unique talents and skill sets, fulfil their potential and enjoy giving something back to people, communities and organisations that rely on the kindness of others to survive.

Every year, many hundreds of young people are involved in thousands of hours of impactful volunteering and social action projects and we look forward to encouraging and empowering more young Jewish people to stand up and be counted as successful and active members of the Jewish and wider communities.
