Local Community Influencer
Salary: £10 per hour + agreed commission bonus
Reports to: Youth Engagement & Recruitment Manager
Location: Home-based, working within target region
Flexible working, 3-10 hours per week
Thanks to recent government funding through Youth United, JLGB is excited to be able to expand our weekly local group in your local area. Throughout the project, including the parents of JLGB members in the journey will be very important.
JLGB are seeking to employ a Local Community Influencer to reach out to parents to encourage their children to be involved in the weekly activities provided by JLGB in their local community.
Key to this project is great local influencers to help grow JLGB weekly group numbers across their communities. From engaging with a network of parents, to teachers, rabbis and other community leaders, Local Community Influencers will be confident in identifying, targeting and communicating with potential new group members.
Key roles include:
- Telephoning parents of potential new of members from gained expressions of interest
- Following up with parents of potential new JLGB members as they start to join
- Identifying, and targeting new families and community stakeholders to engage with
- Positively promoting the local work of JLGB
- Recording results online through the JLGB Customer Relations Management system
Person Specification:
- Confidence and clarity in telephone communication
- Good computer skills including online database management and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Knowledge and awareness of local Jewish community
- Knowledge and understanding of local JLGB activities (desired)
- Driven by targets and results with a focus on achieving maximum numbers for the local JLGB group
- Strong network of local parents, teacher and community leaders
