Partnerships Coordinator
Salary: £21,000 - £24,000 per annum depending on experience
Contract and hours: This is a permanent full time contract, thanks to funding from the #iwill fund. A working week is an average 35.5 hours. Full or part time options available with flexible working hours considered. Immediate start possible
Location: Hybrid working at the JLGB Office in London (E18) and at home. Will require travel around Greater London and project locations nationally.

The Role
Could you be the right person to inspire and support impactful volunteering opportuntiies for young people at JLGB? We strive to support young people to make a difference in society by developing a growing network of over 300 charities and community organisations that increase meaningful volunteering and social action opportunties. The successful candidate will be passionate about youth volunteering, building partnerships, networks and collaborations.
Working closely with the Partnership & Charities Manager, and wider team, you will support the growth of partnerships and networks that leverage volunteer opportunities for JLGB children and young people through eVOLve. The eVOLve initiative and digital platform is a revolution in youth volunteering, creating an age-progressive volunteering journey for Jewish young people throughout primary and secondary school and on to university. eVOLve enables and equips young people to build their character by fully engaging them in meaningful social action to become active citizens in their community and enhance their employability and transferable skills.
You will be help to identify and engage new and existing partners to build strong relationships with a variety of organisations to include charities and community groups, synagogues, business, school and youth groups from across the UK to develop opportunities that offer transferable skills for young people, whilst delivering measurable outcomes for charities and their beneficiaries.

Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous, but what we value most are the right skills and a passion to make a difference. We’re looking for relationship building skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities will include:
- Engage with youth groups, community groups, synagogues and the wider network to promote and market the full benefits of the eVOLve awards framework
- In collaboration with the Youth Engagement Team, deliver on our local engagement plan to increase the impact of youth volunteering and social action in communities
- Support relationships with employers and businesses to develop youth employment opportunities, corporate support and sponsorship for the long-term sustainability of the eVOLve initiative.
- Support the organisation, promotion and delivery of training seminars and workshops on the key principles of eVOLve to maximise stakeholder engagement and deepen partnership opportunities
- Work closely with new and existing partner charities, youth groups and synagogues to help them in becoming more youth friendly and faith sensitive, actively supporting them to develop and upload exciting volunteering opportunities to the eVOLve online platform.
- Work collaboratively with the Youth Engagement Team to ensure the eVOLve platform is relevant to young people.
- Collect feedback from stakeholders, that feed into analytical reports that are sent to funders.

We are looking for some of the following attributes in the successful applicant, you may be more experienced in some areas than others. We are interested in experience that’s both job-related or gained through other areas of your life.
- Experience of supporting stakeholder engagement.
- Passion for youth social action and the empowerment of young people
- Experience of supporting project and event management, delivering project timelines with measurable outputs
- Ability to maintain and facilitate collaborative partnerships and relationships with a wide range of stakeholders from different cultural and faith backgrounds, within and outside of the Jewish community
- Proficient written, verbal and presentation skills
- Great communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive and positive approach
- Knowledge of working with CRMs and Microsoft Office
- A team player, willing to get involved and work collaboratively across teams

You may also have
- Experience of working with or in youth organisations, particularly youth social action and volunteering
- Experience in working with individuals from a range of cultural and faith backgrounds
The successful candidate will be required to be flexible in their approach. The work will include some evenings and Sunday work.

We offer 28 days leave, pro-rata, plus bank and public holidays (this includes directed leave for Jewish high holy days), rising by 1 day for each completed year of service to a maximum total of 34 days leave.
Employer and employee contribution to pension following successful probation period, in line with auto-enrolment pension requirement, 3% employer contribution
Hybrid working, offering a flexible combination of office and home-based working.
We have a flexible policy for working hours and offer TOIL where staff are required to start early, finish late or work on a Sunday, so that you can reclaim these hours at another time.

Additional information
Our staff team are currently based at our London Head Office (E18), although you may be asked to occasionally work at various locations to meet partner organisations, charities and community groups as part of your duties.
Our offices are based in East London and we thrive on working closely together. Ideally you would be willing to meet team members at our offices for co-working more frequently, but we will be flexible for the right candidate.
