The Bright Spark Award

The Bright Spark Award rewards participation in four different development zones. Every one of them is fun, exciting, interesting and enjoyable, and incorporates learning new skills.

Each session lasts around 30 minutes. You get a badge after three weeks of participating in the same activity and then you’ll move on to try something new!

The four areas of activity are:

CREATIVITY Arts • Circus Skills • Computer Skills • Cookery • Crafts • Filmmaking • Magazine Making • Music • Photography and loads more...

ADVENTURE Athletics • Ball Sports • Cycling • Dance • Fitness • Martial Arts • Outdoor Activities • Racket Sports • Stick Sports • Swimming • Watersports and much more...

COMMUNITY Charity • Emergency Services • Environment • First Aid & Lifesaving • Road Safety • Interfaith & Culture • Sign Language • Animal Welfare • Israel and many more...

FRIENDSHIP Drama • Home Safety • Streetwise • Teambuilding • Friendship • Social Events • Communication Skills • Team Games and much more...

In addition to these four zones, many of our programmes are designed to introduce JLGB Juniors to explore their own Jewish Identity and culture, as well as learn about their connection to Israel in fun, interactive and exciting ways.
