Strategy for Jewish Volunteering

"Can the collective force of young people's active citizenship have a major impact on our Big (and little) Society?" Neil Martin, JLGB Chief Executive

At the JLGB, we recognise the need for young Jewish people up and down the UK to have access to a comprehensive range of positive activities which contribute not only to their skillset and lifelong learning, but also that these activities should help to contribute towards their emotional and social development in a way which is both measurable and quantifiable.

Our aim is to create and implement a streamlined, age-progressive volunteering accreditation framework for the Jewish community which will empower young people to gain nationally-recognised accreditation and develop lifelong skills whilst making a meaningful and lasting contribution to society through volunteering and social action.
